Hi,

I want to say thank you for shared that sources. Appolo is a very interesting technogie, a young technoligie using AS3, or AS3 is yount to, then it's not easy to learn them and understand them.
Your tutorial it's great and very helpfull. I hope you'll write another later !

it says "driver is not ready..."

May be this is the shortage of appollo runtime.

If I am not mistaken,you are referring to "No Disk" message that gets displayed when there is no disk in the cd drive.The FileOpenPanel component is trying to read the contents of the system directory including the mountable devices and the windows shows the "No Disk" message.I do get this type of messages but not all the time.
