Who gets the benfit?

While visiting blogs I came across this one where Campbell experimented with the idea of showing images and videos in the web taken in through mobile phones.He used Flex for the frontend and .net and RoR for backend.But he  found it of no great use  as  YouTube  and  MySpace  started giving the same service.
