So, where's your mp3 player, Dude ?
I have got Apollo Jukebox.
Peter Ent has got Apollo Music
So where's your's?
It is not difficult anymore to build one with so much available support in the form of source codes, tutorials and community forums.
Agreed, it is a humble beginning, but quite a significant one. From the apps that one sees in various blogs, the coming of the new wave can be felt.Web 2.0, RIA, web to desktop bridging, new runtimes, newer frameworks, better usability and opensource are not buzzwords anymore. They are here and they will rule.Soon the days of a good application with bad UI and a better looking app with less features will be over.people behind the technologies will have to follow what the creators(a better sounding word than designer-cum-developer) demand rather than the other way around.I can feel it coming when if you know a little bit of coding, you will be build your own text-cum-blog-cum-html editor or own photo editor because they wont take long to build and will have exactly the features you need, no more no less.
Embarking on Apollo, have a great journey.

Who gets the benfit?
While visiting blogs I came across this one where Campbell experimented with the idea of showing images and videos in the web taken in through mobile phones. He used Flex for the frontend and .net and RoR for backend. But he found it of no great use as YouTube and MySpace started giving the same service. Check this URL for the complete coverage. So who gets the benefit ? App's name is VideMe.

Flex is kind of free
So all you need is a graphical user interface to do your coding if thats what you are comfortable at.
Well there i one called FleVI .This is a open source GUI IDE .
So even if you can't afford the Flex editor by Adobe then at least do not complain you have been denied opportunity.
Happy Coding!!
